Last Post

Today is the last post that I am going to make on here for Jazzy Art Studio. There was many things that I have learned through out this. One of them is making blog posts, having a blog, creating links to go to your blog, different ways to customize your blog, and how to schedule your blog. In my future I might make a blog. It was a fun and different experience for me. The toughest part was coming up with these fake events, and trying to remember what exactly what was going on, because it was fake and not an actual event that was happening in my life. I also really liked all the different ideas we had to base our posts off of, it made our blogs really fun too look at.

Some things that I found was really tough, was keeping up with how to keep my blog, to the standards. like not having indents to my paragraphs, having my connects with me, Facebook, and Twitter all lined up correctly.  What I would recommend to a real business is to keep up with a blog, Facebook, and a Twitter, because people are always on social media, people are always looking for different things too look at. I feel like social media is a huge skill to have when it comes to marketing, I never really realized it until this class. I think that some businesses do not do well, because they do not have this strength.

A New App is Here

Here at Jazzy Art Studio we have decided to make an app for our fellow artistic friends. What is the app you ask? The app you can take your videos of you video taping yourself doing your art, and create them into a fast pace video, that is called a time lapse video. What is a time lapse video you ask? A time lapse video is a faster pace video, that shows all the steps in a way that it almost looks like you are there watching them. Here is a link to show an example.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhAQUcLj-Ts

In this app we allow our users to put music into their videos to make them more personal to the artist. We also allow the artist to create a profile, so people can like, and share the videos that they like most. What we also offer is that the app is free to download, but if you want to add extra effects like, slow motion, and filters you would have to make in app purchases.

The reason behind this app is to get beginning artists out into the world, a little easier, and in a different way. The app is a little hard to work, but we do offer tutorials, for beginners, and tutorials for the extra effects like the filters, and the slow motion. Here is the app below!

No Shave November is Here

Here at Jazzy Art Studio we have decided to use our creative skills, sculpting skills and beard skills to create weird fun beards for everyone to see. We have our staff, students and volunteers participating in this, this week. We just picked up tons, and tons of gel, little flowers, leaves, combs, and tons of other little knick-knacks. First off here we have one for Veterans day: To honor all the Veterans who fought for our country. This one is one of our favorites, because it is simple, easy to do, and can mean a lot to someone.
If your not really into Veteran day beards we also have a Thanksgiving style beard. What you will need is a longer type beard, gel, a comb, and Thanksgiving supplies. This beard takes a little longer to prep. This idea was from the pilgrims when they would use the cornucopia stuffed with fruit to put on the table to pass around on Thanksgiving. This beard I would recommend for this coming Thanksgiving, to show your family your artistic view on Thanksgiving. It also would be a great conversation starter!
Lets talk about what really No Shave November really is. It is to raise awareness for men's health issues. The money that is usually used for having and grooming, is used to raise money for cancer. This month it shows people to appreciate what they can grow, because some people really can't grow beards because they have cancer. This No Shave November month is slowly becoming more, and more known around the area. Hopefully we call can realize what this awareness is actually doing for the men in this country.

Contest Time!

Jazzy Art Studio has a little extra time this year to host a contest for anyone who wants to sign up. We have been posting on our Twitter, Facebook, and we even made a Vine about this secretive event. The contest we are holding is going to be, who can paint the best, creative, fantasy, idea on someones face. The reason behind this contest is that the people who attended our face painting class last Thursday will have a little bit of an advantage. We are still in the Halloween spirit here at the studio, and we encourage Halloween fun for longer than just one day.

There is no restrictions to this contest, we hope that everyone brings there creative juices with them, their 10 closest friends for an audience, and of course their paintbrushes! All the Different Types of Art

Art is like people, they come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and color. With art anyone can do it. Some people think that art takes talent, which in some cases it does. People would be surprised about how many different ways you can create art. So here is a list of all the different types of art people can do:

Source
       Photography- which is taking pictures
       Sand Art- from the Navajos
Sculpture Art- which is making art out of   objects
Glass Art- which is a harder way to create art because of the skills needed
Abstract Art- is creating art with non-natural subjects, with geometric shapes
Surrealistic Art- which is objects, or things that are not real
Contour Line Art- which is art created with one continuous line
Figure Drawing/ Portrait Drawing- drawings of real objects, and real people
Caveman Art- Art that is created on cave walls

Jazzy Art Studio practices all these types of art so that everyone who stops in gets the feel of the different ways they can create their art. This way people can pick the way that they want to express themselves. We like to encourage everyone to try at least four of these types of art listed above, and tag us on Facebook, and Twitter.

Then from 4 to 5 we will have open mic for anyone who wants to give some sweet rhymes.

What other fun activities will be going on?

Just don't think that this event is for adults. We will be holding face painting, homemade fun arcade games that include, pick a duck, yard bowling, go fishing, cake walk, and plenty more. The tickets for the arcade will be sold for 20 tickets for 5 dollars. Again all the money will be going to the locals who are battling breast cancer.

What to bring?

We encourage that everyone brings their smiles, laughs, and good hearts to help support the local people battling breast cancer. We also hope to see everyone having a good time, spending it with loved ones, friends, and hopefully new friends. Jazzy Art Studio hopes to see everyone there!
